The Covid-19 pandemic has altered the global economy and the development prospects of EAP countries. Many changes will be durable and all consequences are not yet clear. The course will cover conceptual and empirical analysis that is accessible to economics students, economists, researchers, and others with an interest in the field. The objective is to help understand what has happened over the past two years, why, what to expect and what can be done.
We would like to ask you to please circulate our attached invitation among your staff, researchers, students, and others who would be interested. Live interpretation will be available in selected languages, depending on the level of participation. Apart from disseminating recent analysis, our aim is to strengthen the research community in the region and to advance understanding of how economies can recover from the COVID-19 shock.
